About the Role
Camp Buffalo Bill is seeking a Range & Target Sports Director for the upcoming summer season. This role is dedicated to leading our shooting sports program, ensuring safety, and fostering a love for the outdoors among our campers.
The ideal candidate will serve as the face of our range operations, guiding participants through rifle, pistol, and archery activities. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and instruction while creating an engaging environment for all ages.
Qualifications & Certification
To excel in this position, candidates must be at least 25 years old and hold current NRA certifications in rifle, pistol, and USAA archery. Prior experience in range supervision is required, along with a Scouting America camp school certification specifically as a shooting sports director. Familiarity with the Scouting America Shooting Sports program is preferred.
We welcome military veterans to apply. For those who do not yet hold the necessary certifications, Camp Buffalo Bill offers an NRA certification program prior to employment on our facility.
