About the Team
BD Interventional Surgery, located in Warwick, RI, is a leading developer, manufacturer, and marketer of innovative, life-enhancing medical technologies. We focus our business on key surgical specialties, including Surgical Instruments, Soft Tissue Repair, Surgical Fixation, Infection Prevention, Biomaterials, and Orthopedic/Wound Management Irrigation.

BDI Surgery is situated in a central location, surrounded by a scenic coastline with easy access to T.F. About the Role
This R&D Co-op position offers a unique opportunity to be exposed to the medical device field and gain hands-on experience within the Research & Development group in an Engineering capacity. You will work with cross-functional product development teams and alongside experienced engineers to contribute to design solutions and the advancement of new product development projects.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art equipment and take advantage of training courses offered on-site. You will be assigned to specific product and/or support teams, where you will build test samples, compile, analyze, and report operational test and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified products, processes, or materials.
