About the Role
This position is more than a career; it is a calling. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be the face of the imaging department for patients, guiding them through their diagnostic journey with compassion and professionalism. You will perform a variety of imaging procedures, including plain films, fluoroscopy, portable exams, and operating room exams. In some cases, you may also perform Bone Density scans and limited CT procedures during emergent situations.
Your day will involve explaining procedures clearly to patients to ensure their understanding and comfort, preparing them for exams, and positioning them accurately to capture high-quality images. You will work in a constant state of alertness to maintain safety, adhering strictly to radiation safety guidelines to prevent unnecessary exposure. Beyond the technical aspects, you will ensure equipment is functioning correctly and maintain a clean, orderly environment for both staff and patients.
