About the Role
As a Radiology Technologist, you will be accountable for the proficient operations of radiographic and CT equipment to provide clinically diagnostic images as directed by physicians. This role is vital to ensuring that exams are performed accurately and efficiently according to established standards and protocols.
In this position, you will initiate proper interventions when an exam indicates immediate attention and review indications for exams to ensure appropriateness. You will utilize computer systems such as PACS, RIS, and EMR to provide complete exam data for radiologist interpretation, while also managing the archiving and retrieval of image data. Beyond technical duties, you will assist in mentoring staff and students during clinical rotations and orientation, helping to maintain a productive and efficient department environment.
