Anchored by the mission to "improve the health of people in the communities we serve," we combine strategic growth, innovation, and deep community commitment to deliver exceptional care. Our organization thrives on a culture of CARE BRAVELY—where compassion, courage, and urgency drive every decision, empowering teams to shape the future of healthcare.
With over 14,000 employees, 130 care locations, and two million annual patient encounters, we operate five leading centers in the Baltimore region: Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Grace Medical Center, Northwest Hospital, Carroll Hospital, and Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital.
As a Radiologic Technologist at Carroll Hospital, you will be responsible for producing optimal quality radiographs efficiently while demonstrating deep concern for patients of all ages. This role requires utilizing knowledge of growth and development principles to ensure care meets the unique physician and psychosocial needs of each patient.
You will operate a variety of imaging equipment, including DR, CR, fluoroscopes, C-arms, and portable radiographic units. The position involves providing comprehensive patient care using Cerner and the Picture Archiving Communications System (PACS). A key aspect of this role is the ability to problem-solve and utilize troubleshooting skills independently in the absence of a supervisor. As a PRN (As Needed) position, you will be relied upon to consistently cover open shifts as scheduled, adhering to the Advantage Policy guidelines.
Join a team that values innovation and outcomes, delivering life-saving care to our youngest and most vulnerable patients. We offer a culture of collaboration with resources like unit-based practice councils and advanced clinical education support, allowing you to work at the top of your license. Opportunities for professional development include tuition reimbursement and foundational skills for neonatal critical care leadership and advanced certification.
