About the Role
As a Quantum Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will provide expert guidance on quantum computing technologies to support complex GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence) challenges. This role is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth.
You will bridge the gap between advanced quantum theory and practical application, conducting trade studies and performance evaluations using both quantum and classical methods. Your work will involve analyzing exceptionally difficult technical problems in engineering and scientific applications, specifically focusing on quantum machine learning, quantum architectures, and quantum simulation. You will provide functional analysis, design, and integration advice to ensure product quality and verify performance in mission-critical environments.
A key part of your day will involve translating complex quantum computing concepts into clear briefing materials and technical documents for non-technical audiences. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the R&D of quantum computing and classical machine learning within the GEOINT data domain.
