About the Role
As a Quality/Risk Director, you will oversee a hospital-wide quality management program, collaborating with various stakeholders to monitor and enhance the quality of patient care services. This role is designed for those seeking a career that utilizes their expertise while aligning with personal values, providing the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
In this position, you will ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and corporate policies. You will develop, implement, and maintain quality assessment and improvement programs, while facilitating processes to remediate or maintain compliance with federal, state, and industry standards. Your day-to-day will involve coordinating local, state, federal, and accreditation surveys, providing organizational education on regulations, and utilizing various applications to identify improvement opportunities and generate reports.
You will also oversee risk management activities, including the completion of incident reports, notice of potential claims, and corrective action planning. By coordinating the review and implementation of hospital policies and collaborating with other departments, you will help promptly resolve patient concerns and celebrate the accomplishments of our dedicated employees.
