As a Quality Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of our manufactured assemblies. Your primary mission is to perform in-process and final inspections to guarantee strict compliance with blueprints, specifications, and manufacturing working instructions. You will be the eyes and ears of quality on the production floor, utilizing standard measurement tools and specialized go/no-go gauges to conduct visual and dimensional inspections.
This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will interpret complex data and manuals to determine inspection procedures, verify part conformance, and maintain accurate documentation. Beyond the technical aspects of measuring and testing, you will actively participate in daily visual management activities, collaborating with the Quality Engineering team to solve problems and enhance both product and process quality. The position requires adaptability to new equipment and materials, as well as the ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and team collaboration.
The role is split between the production floor and the office. Approximately 80% of your time will be spent on the production floor, where you will wear safety glasses, protective footwear, and explosives handlers' outer garments as needed. The remaining 20% involves desk work for data entry and documentation. The physical nature of the job includes bending, stooping, crawling, and standing for extended periods, as well as lifting materials up to 40-80 pounds with assistance.
Candidates selected for employment must demonstrate U.S. Person status in compliance with US Export Control laws and regulations. Additionally, successful applicants must obtain BATF approval to engage in certain explosive operations. The interview process will assess your technical aptitude, experience with inspection methodologies, and cultural fit within our safety-first environment.
Nammo Defense Systems is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
