The Precision Strike business area is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Munitions Acceleration Team (MAT) and the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program. This role is critical to expanding manufacturing capabilities while ensuring production builds remain compliant to deliver high-quality results to our customers.
About the Role
In this position, you will partner with Production Quality Leads to ensure that requirements flow down effectively and that compliance is maintained throughout the production lifecycle. You will play a significant part in the everyday operations of a dynamic, face-paced environment where defending national security relies on precision and ingenuity.
Your day-to-day will involve supporting the buying, validation, and verification of test equipment and long-lead materials. You will assist in the production build process, manage product acceptance and customer sell-offs, conduct first article inspections, and provide additional quality support for production manufacturing. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently with minimal oversight while collaborating within a multi-disciplined team to communicate clearly with multiple customers, including the US Government.

Familiarity with First Article Inspection (FAI) AS9102. Familiarity with presenting product to customers for acceptance/sell off. Familiarity with preparation of documentation packages for customer review. Familiarity with Configuration Control and Hardware Configuration Reporting. Familiarity with participation in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
