Quality Engineer (Aerospace castings)

About the Role

As a Quality Engineer at Consolidated Precision Products (CPP), you will drive aerospace quality from the first article to flight. You play a critical role in ensuring our aerospace and defense products meet exacting customer requirements, regulatory standards, and internal quality expectations. This position is a key driver of product integrity, supporting manufacturing, inspection, and testing processes from new product introduction through production.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and customers to solve problems, prevent defects, and strengthen our quality systems. This is more than a compliance-focused role; it is a chance to work on aerospace and defense components that require precision and excellence, directly influencing manufacturing outcomes and product performance while building expertise in highly regulated environments.

About the Team

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is an industry-leading manufacturer of highly engineered components and sub-assemblies, supplying the commercial aerospace, military, and industrial markets. We provide a "total solution" source, taking customers from concept to finished product with one of the broadest and most diverse product offerings in the industry. You will be an integral part of the Quality organization, working closely with the Senior Customer Program Manager, Quality Manager, Director of Quality, and cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.

Location & Requirements

This position is based at our Bloomington facility and requires onsite presence. Please note that this position requires use of information or access to hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
