The Quality Control Manager is a critical role ensuring that all construction activities in New Albany, IN, comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This position is essential for maintaining quality assurance throughout heavy civil construction projects, including earthwork, concrete, utilities, and structural components.
In this role, you will partner with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to uphold high-quality standards. Your day will involve conducting regular site walks to inspect work, performing root cause analysis on quality issues, and facilitating pre-installation meetings. You will serve as a key liaison between the field and senior management, preparing reports on quality metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives to prevent recurring issues. This role requires a hands-on approach to training site personnel and promoting a safe work environment.
