The Quality Control Manager is a critical role ensuring that all construction activities in New Albany, IN, comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This position is essential for maintaining quality assurance throughout heavy civil construction projects, including earthwork, concrete, utilities, and structural components.
In this role, you will partner with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to uphold high-quality standards. Your day will involve developing project-specific Quality Management Plans, conducting regular site walks to inspect work, and performing root cause analysis on quality issues. You will serve as a key liaison for quality metrics, presenting progress reports to senior management while facilitating training sessions to ensure site personnel adhere to best practices. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement to prevent recurring issues.
