The Quality Control Manager is a critical role in maintaining quality assurance throughout heavy civil construction projects, including earthwork, concrete, utilities, and structural components. You will ensure that all construction activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This position is essential for upholding our century-old commitment to excellence while supporting the completion of our customers' most complex projects.
In this role, you will partner with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your day-to-day involves conducting site walks to inspect work for compliance, performing root cause analysis on quality issues, and facilitating training sessions to ensure site personnel understand quality control policies. You will serve as the guardian of our standards, verifying that materials, safety measures, and construction activities adhere to DOT specifications and ASTM standards.
