About the Role
The Quality Control Manager is a critical role within our New Albany, IN team, ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This position is essential for maintaining quality assurance throughout heavy civil construction projects, including earthwork, concrete, utilities, and structural components.
In this role, you will partner with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to uphold high-quality standards. Your day will involve conducting regular site walks to inspect work during and after construction, performing root cause analysis on quality issues, and facilitating pre-installation meetings. You will serve as the guardian of our "Do it Right the First Time" ethos, ensuring that materials, methods, and safety measures adhere to DOT specifications and ASTM standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
