The Public Relations/Events Specialist I serves as a vital link between ABHS and the community, working under the direct supervision of the Quality Management Public Relations/Events Supervisor. This role is designed to proactively shape and maintain a positive public voice, identity, and image for the organization. You will be the face of ABHS in various public forums, ensuring that our story is told effectively through press releases, media interactions, and strategic event planning.
In this position, you will manage the full lifecycle of public relations and event coordination. Your day-to-day involves nurturing culturally appropriate connections with employees, vendors, and the community while ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials. You will act as the primary liaison for vendors, overseeing contracts and delivery to ensure seamless execution of agency events. From drafting speeches and promotional content to managing media inquiries and social media presence, you will play a key role in communicating our objectives to consumers and stakeholders.
A critical aspect of this role is upholding the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality. You will be responsible for ensuring all client information remains strictly confidential in compliance with HIPAA regulations, reflecting the trust placed in ABHS by the community we serve.
Qualified candidates will be considered for this position with preference given to Indian candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act (Title 25, U.S. Code, Section 472 and 473). The selection process includes pre-employment testing, which encompasses fingerprint clearance and background checks. Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a regulated healthcare environment.
