Our client is a well-respected, Ohio-based construction firm with over 80 years of history. They are currently expanding their operations in Columbus and are seeking talented Project Managers to join their growing team. The company has a strong reputation across the state and is managing several high-profile projects that require strong leadership to execute successfully.
As a Project Manager, you will step into a dynamic environment where you are responsible for leading vertical ground-up projects valued at $20 million or more. This role is designed for a leader who thrives on managing complex scopes, from the initial pre-bid phase through to final closeout. You will serve as the central point of coordination, ensuring that plans and specifications are thoroughly understood and that all project stakeholders are aligned.
Your day-to-day involves a blend of strategic planning and on-site execution. You will collaborate closely with the Preconstruction department to review bids and define scopes of work, while utilizing industry-standard tools like Procore, Phoenix, and Viewpoint to manage schedules, costs, and documentation. A key part of your mission is to implement Lean Standards, driving efficiency through weekly work plans, look-ahead schedules, and pull-plan meetings. Whether you are tracking permits, managing submittals, or leading closeout processes, you will ensure every project meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate their leadership capabilities and technical expertise. The interview process is designed to assess both your fit with our culture and your ability to handle the complexities of large-scale construction projects. Qualified candidates will be invited to discuss their experience with high-value vertical builds and their familiarity with modern construction management software.
