About the Role
The Project Engineer I serves as a vital support to Engineering project management, assisting in the planning, scheduling, coordination, and monitoring of projects within the engineering sector. You will work as an active participant in a multi-disciplinary team focused on roadway and land development projects. This role involves collaborating directly with experienced personnel to develop plans, specifications, estimates, and reports. You will oversee aspects of engineering design, procurement, and construction inspection, applying professional judgment to engineering, construction, and design assignments.
Work Environment
This position requires travel to job locations in Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana. You will be expected to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites while complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements.
