- check_circleObtain market feedback from surgeons to determine functional and design specifications
- check_circleCreate and maintain project plans and FDA complaint Design history Files
- check_circleManage all aspects of assigned projects to ensure timely completion and regulatory compliance
- check_circleDesign and develop instruments and implants using Creo and SolidWorks software
- check_circlePerform design verification and validation activities to ensure designs meet specifications
- check_circleCollaborate with marketing to develop forecasts and market plans
- check_circleAssist in writing regulatory applications to the FDA and other regulatory bodies
- check_circlePartner with operations to setup manufacturing and purchasing for projects
- check_circleParticipate in product introductions through sales training and customer visits
- check_circleResearch industry and direct competitors to ensure cutting edge technology adoption
- check_circlePartner with prototype shops and vendors for rapid prototyping and evaluation
Requirements
- verified3-7 years mechanical design engineering experience
- verifiedBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar
- verifiedProficiency in Creo and/or SolidWorks software
- verifiedExperience preparing reports and managing project budgets
- verifiedStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office
