The Programs Field Representative serves as a vital liaison between the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) Child Welfare Services and Tribal partners. This position exists to strengthen the collaboration between state agencies and Native American Tribes, ensuring that the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) is upheld with integrity and that tribal voices are central to child welfare policy and practice.
In this role, you will be the bridge connecting systems, providing essential training to child welfare partners on ICWA requirements and OKDHS policies. Your work will directly support compliance efforts and drive quality improvement initiatives within the Child Welfare and Tribal Collaboration teams. This is a unique opportunity to influence practice standards and foster meaningful partnerships that serve vulnerable families and communities.
This position is based within the Oklahoma Civil Service and may be located anywhere in the state of Oklahoma. The role is part of a dedicated team committed to fair and effective child welfare services.
