Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to bridge the gap between young adults and professional careers. Our mission is to provide participants with in-classroom skill development, access to high-quality internships, and personalized coaching and mentorship. By combining technical and professional training with direct access to our industry-leading talent placement firm, YUPRO Placement, we prepare students for success in the workforce.
Internship placements are secured through partnerships with leading organizations in the New York and New Jersey area, including BNY Mellon, Fidelity, and Bank of America. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum covering Application Development, Business Operations, Banking, IT Support, Investment Operations, Data Analytics, Project Management, and Network Security & Support.
Participants gain more than just technical know-how; they develop professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking expertise, and resume-building strategies. The program provides ongoing support and guidance to help launch a sustainable career. During the internship phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.
The results speak for themselves: 72% of Year Up United graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months of graduation. Employed graduates earn an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are eager to learn technical and professional skills. Eligible candidates must be high school graduates or GED recipients, eligible to work in the U.S., and available Monday through Friday for the duration of the program. Applicants must not have obtained a Bachelor's degree. Additional screening questions may be required during the application process.
