This opportunity resides with Uncrewed Systems (UxS), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. Our team of more than 7,000 professionals worldwide delivers all-domain expertise and advanced technologies in service of mission partners across the globe. We are leading the next evolution of national defense—the data evolution—by accelerating a breadth of national security solutions for government and commercial customers.

Uncrewed Systems comprises unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs), unmanned surface vehicles (USVs), and autonomy software. HII creates advanced unmanned solutions for defense, marine research, and commercial applications, serving customers in more than 30 countries. We provide design, autonomy, manufacturing, testing, operations, and sustainment of unmanned systems, including the largest family of unmanned underwater vehicles in every class.

About the Role

Come join HII! Where hard stuff is done right. This role is designed for a leader who directs all phases of complex programs from capture through completion. You will serve as the primary customer contact, leading program review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance while acting as the liaison between financial management, planning, project teams, and subcontractors.

In this position, you will be responsible for the profit and loss of a large, complex program. You will oversee operational aspects, establish milestones, and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules. Your day will involve coordinating engineering, technical, integration, and test efforts, as well as facilitating professional team meetings with active follow-up on action items. You will communicate complex issues to stakeholders across engineering, production, and quality, developing resolutions to meet productivity and client-satisfaction goals.
