As a Mechanical Engineer within Warfare Systems, you will perform computer-aided mechanical engineering design, including component design, packaging engineering, and interface specification. You will effectively negotiate design characteristics among engineers, suppliers, and program management while managing risks associated with mechanical, thermal, electrical, and optical systems.
In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative mechanical solutions that contribute to overall product architecture. You will translate requirements into tasks and completed designs, performing fundamental analysis from first principles. Success in this position requires strong communication skills to navigate complex stakeholder environments and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced setting.
