About the Role
Insight Global is seeking a Program Coordinator to support a specialized healthcare client in Middlesex County, NJ. This role is critical to the operational success of a night-shift behavioral health screening team, which serves as the sole point of entry for evaluating minors and adults presenting in crisis via the emergency room or as walk-ins.
In this position, you will provide daily supervision and operational oversight for screeners and mental health specialists. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing staff schedules, assigning cases, handling communications, and ensuring timely assessments to determine the appropriate path for involuntary inpatient commitment or safe discharge. You will coordinate staff coverage and movement between locations as needed, conduct performance oversight, and ensure team members are properly trained on screening workflows through on-the-job, on-site training provided by UBHC.
Success in this role requires maintaining a strong working knowledge of the screener role to effectively support high-acuity crisis response and patient care in a fast-paced environment.
