The Centers provide health, family, and workforce services at 11 locations throughout Greater Cleveland, creating life-changing solutions for people to lead healthier and more successful lives. We strive to be a service-oriented workplace that pioneers and co-creates solutions while fostering belonging in a community where our team members thrive.

Our Workforce Center impacts local communities through the linkage of underserved job seekers with local employers. Through culturally competent job readiness training, case management, national third-party certifications, job placements, and retention support with a large network of corporate partners, we help prepare individuals for success in today's workplace. Our training tracks in Customer Service, Hospitality, Pharmacy, and general job readiness in both English and Spanish allow us to provide essential skills to our job seekers.

About the Role

This Case Manager position plays an important role in advancing our mission and supporting the communities we serve. You will conduct interviews with El Barrio students to assess barriers to employment and success with life goals, completing Individual Service Plans to guide their journey. Your work involves generating referrals to internal programs and external agencies for supportive services such as clothing, transportation, and childcare to remove or mitigate obstacles.

In this role, you will represent El Barrio at local meetings and conduct workshops on Case Management related topics, barrier removal, self-care, and supportive services. You will develop strong relationships with job seekers and support staff, assessing issues challenging success and making recommendations for improvement. The position requires maintaining accurate documentation, updating job seeker files, and ensuring data accuracy across all tracking and reporting systems.

This is an in-person role working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with some evenings required. You will work with a diverse population, including young adults aged 18-24 seeking employment or education, and those aged 14-24 impacted by shelters, residential facilities, foster care, or the juvenile justice system.

Wellbeing and Benefits

Providing quality benefits to our staff is important to us. Just as important is our staff's well-being. We offer a number of choices to meet the different needs of our staff, including a choice of medical and dental plans, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account for Health and Dependent Care, and Vision coverage. Additional support includes continuing education and credential renewal, Life Insurance, Retirement Savings (401k) with a company contribution, Mental Health Support, an Employee Assistance Program, a Calm Subscription, and Short and Long-term Disability coverage.
