About the Role
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Production Planner 2 to support our Tooling department on-site in El Segundo. This position is designed to bridge the gap between engineering specifications and shop floor execution, ensuring that fabrication, assembly, and installation operations run smoothly and according to schedule.
In this role, you will serve as a critical link for production workers, planning detailed sequences of operations based on blueprints, engineering orders, and change notices. You will determine tooling needs, recommend designs, and prepare shop work orders to coordinate material processing. Your work ensures that items are processed according to strict specifications and time requirements while maintaining accurate progress reports and schedules.
This position is intended to be contracted to hire. While this is our intent, it is not a promise to hire by Northrop Grumman. This contract role aligns with our full-time Production Planner 2 position, offering a pathway to contribute to our aerospace manufacturing environment.
