This position is for a technician to perform the final assembly of energetic sections, building large-scale missiles. You will be a key part of the manufacturing operations, providing strategic and critical products to our war fighters. The role requires you to be mechanically gifted, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and safety, and work with explosive items.
In this onsite role, you will perform the assembly, modification, and checkout of ordnance weapon systems. You will operate pneumatic and manual tools, work with various computer systems and applications, and report problems to management and support staff to assist in the continuance of manufacturing operations. You will also participate in required production meetings and complete necessary training while following all documented processes, procedures, and work instructions.
This position requires an active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (DoD Secret) prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The ability to obtain an INTERIM clearance is also required prior to start.
DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website.
