About the Role
This position is dedicated to bending, cutting, bundling, and loading reinforcing steel bars in strict accordance with customer orders. As a vital member of our production team, you will operate specialized machinery including shearing, bending, and Fabmatic machines to fabricate materials to precise specifications. Your day will involve unloading trailers, managing material storage, and utilizing overhead cranes to move and assemble components for shipping. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; candidates must be able to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
