This position serves as a vital support pillar within our TV production and newsroom environment, bridging the gap between creative vision and logistical execution. You will be the operational backbone of the team, ensuring that scripts are flawlessly distributed, schedules are meticulously maintained, and production logistics run smoothly from pre-production through post-production.
In this role, you will immerse yourself in the fast-paced rhythm of broadcast news. Your day will involve attending production meetings, coordinating complex travel and accommodation arrangements for cast and crew, and managing the flow of information through cue sheets and shot lists. You will also play a key role in the editorial process, logging video footage, cataloging metadata, and supporting live feeds during breaking news coverage. Beyond the technical and administrative duties, you will act as a trusted assistant to the cast and crew, handling errands and anticipating needs to keep the production moving forward without interruption.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a review of their editorial experience and academic background, with a focus on those demonstrating strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of current events. The selection process prioritizes individuals who can thrive under intense deadlines and demonstrate flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
We are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment where diverse perspectives are valued. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
