The Manufacturing Operator serves as a critical pillar within our cGMP-compliant biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic, high-stakes settings where precision, safety, and quality are paramount. You will be the frontline executor of complex production processes, ensuring that every step from equipment operation to documentation adheres to strict regulatory standards.
In this role, you will not only operate and maintain production equipment but also actively contribute to the validation and qualification of these systems. Your work directly supports continuous improvement initiatives, requiring you to identify opportunities for optimization and implement approved strategies. Success in this position demands a balance of technical proficiency with electronic systems and the ability to collaborate effectively across Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Process Development, and Facilities teams.
This role requires a high level of physical engagement. The environment involves constant standing, walking, and manual handling of materials ranging from under 20 lbs to over 60 lbs. Operators must be physically capable of frequent bending, twisting, gripping, and reaching, as well as pushing and pulling loads. Additionally, the role requires specific safety qualifications, including the ability to be PAPR and Respirator qualified, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
Candidates must possess an A.A.S. in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience, along with 2-4 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in a cGMP biopharmaceutical setting. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills are essential. Please note that this position does not involve supervisory responsibilities or travel requirements.
