As a Process Engineer II, you will be the in-factory materials and process specialist, working to improve processes to maintain efficiency, reduce costs, improve sustainability and safety, and maximize profitability. You will verify that Technical Data Package (TDP) shelf-life materials are correctly called out in Manufacturing Data Packages (MDP) and write material processing procedures. Your day-to-day involves collaborating on integrating process equipment within the factory, documenting equipment functionality, and actively participating in daily production meetings. You will serve as a key liaison between Factory personnel and the Materials Management Team, addressing production issues, identifying material obsolescence, and driving the use of common materials based on allowable requirements. This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending time in and around factory areas.
This position is based onsite at Raytheon’s Tucson, AZ facility.
