This position serves as a critical component of our IT infrastructure, operating within a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment. You will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of containers, as well as the management of ESXi, VCenter, and Microsoft Windows domains. The role demands a deep understanding of Windows Server internals and Linux fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and server replication methods.
As a key member of the engineering support team, you will execute actions directed by senior staff and project management while engaging in cross-team collaboration to align with leadership expectations. You will participate in all phases of engineering software installation and support, with a specific emphasis on testing, documentation, and acceptance. The work involves troubleshooting technical problems of moderate to high scope, integrating hardware and operating systems, and performing data backups and restores using industry best practices. You will also work closely with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain strict security requirements.
Given the operational nature of our systems, which run 24x7, occasional work beyond standard hours may be required. This is a full-time, 100% onsite position located in El Segundo, California, with travel to other U.S. domestic locations up to 10% per year as business needs dictate.
