We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Chief Systems Architect to build customer-focused solutions within a multi-disciplinary team. Operating in an agile, fast-paced development environment, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for hardware and software architectures used in integrated sensing solutions. These solutions encompass radar, electromagnetic warfare, communications, telemetry, electro-optical, and flight termination systems.
In this role, you will define and communicate a shared architectural vision for next-generation products and services, owning the technical solutions for future business. You will enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline through design guidelines and investment advocacy while actively participating in business-winning strategy development. This involves collaborating with Strategic Systems Business Units, Capture teams, and Functional personnel to achieve overall business goals.
Your day-to-day will involve preparing technical briefs and presentations for senior leadership and external customers, as well as contributing to white papers, RFI responses, and proposals. You will leverage partnerships with internal and external technical capability providers to bring effective solutions to Sensor and Electronics Solutions customers. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance to senior leadership, program management, and engineers, ensuring architectural consistency across the organization.
This position requires 25% travel to domestic and international locations, primarily to support customer engagement and product demonstrations. Due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the inherent demands of the role, this position is performed on a full-time onsite basis at a BAE Systems facility.
