About the Role
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will become a vital part of our caring community, serving as a hands-on technical authority for our enterprise Appian platform. This role is designed to bridge the gap between strategic technical guidance and deep, hands-on engineering expertise, supporting multiple functional teams and business initiatives simultaneously.
You will operate within a HIPAA-regulated healthcare environment, where your work directly impacts the security, compliance, and reliability of critical systems. As a recognized subject matter expert, you will influence enterprise-wide platforms and apply advanced technical knowledge across multiple domains. Your day-to-day involves standardizing engineering quality and development practices while actively designing and developing complex software solutions. You will drive the delivery of high-impact initiatives, ensuring that our platform scales effectively to meet the demands of our members.

Requirements
- verified10+ years of active Appian experience
- verifiedHands-on Appian development experience
- verifiedExperience with Autoscale techniques
- verifiedExperience with workflow-driven and case-based applications
- verifiedStrong understanding of platform security, integrations, and data access patterns
- verifiedHands-on API development experience
- verifiedExperience in AI Modeling and Appian AI capabilities
