About the Role
This position serves as a strategic leader in maintaining an effective price structure for Xcel's utilities. You will assume a lead role in developing effective pricing strategies for a restructured environment, analyzing and presenting major rate design proposals to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves overseeing the work of lower-level pricing analysts and coordinating area projects to ensure the timely and accurate completion of necessary analyses for rate cases, revenue forecasting, and cost of service studies.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop and analyze rate design proposals for general and miscellaneous regulatory filings
- check_circleConduct cost of service studies to ensure accurate and timely cost information
- check_circleCoordinate area projects to ensure timely completion of rate case analyses and revenue forecasts
- check_circleOversee the development of revenue forecasts and historic revenue reports for budgets and rate cases
- check_circleOversee the development and implementation of revenue recovery and refund mechanisms
- check_circleGuide lower-level analysts in preparing rate design proposals and filing requirements
- check_circleCreate new rate design proposals or modify existing structures to maintain effective pricing
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or other technical field
- verified5 to 8 years experience in Rate Design
