Principal, HashiCorp Vault Expert

About the Team

You will join Fidelity’s Enterprise Cybersecurity business unit as a member of the Privileged Access Management team. We are a dynamic, high-visibility group that provides a variety of access management services to all of Fidelity’s business units. Our team is comprised of engineers located in the US, Ireland, and India, leveraging an Agile operating model to install, configure, operate, and maintain a set of in-house and vendor applications. As a DevOps team, we engage in systems engineering, software engineering, and production services support.

About the Role

In this role, you will own and operate Fidelity’s enterprise-class HashiCorp Vault application, which provides secrets management services to over 5,000 business unit applications. Your primary focus will be designing, developing, and supporting new and improved access management capabilities that meet Fidelity’s stringent cybersecurity policies. You will administer critical production environments, handling implementation of monitoring, upgrades, performance and capacity improvements, disaster readiness certification, and CI/CD process automation. You will also analyze key metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement efforts aimed at increasing the efficiency and velocity of the team. Working within an Agile framework, you will participate in sprint planning to provide prioritization and realistic estimates.
