About the Team and Role

The Hardware Engineering Directorate is seeking a Principal Digital Hardware Engineer to join the Effector Guidance Electronics Department. This team designs digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units that support systems from proposal through transition to production. Our systems are engineered to withstand environments ranging from the frigid, sub-zero vacuum of space to the blistering heat of the desert floor, and the high pressures of the ocean depths.

In this role, you will collaborate with a team of engineers to generate and utilize cutting-edge technology. You will design digital electronics circuits that implement missile guidance, video, and digital signal processing. Your work will leverage a technology base that includes high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and homogeneous/heterogeneous multiprocessor designs.

About the Location

Huntsville, Alabama, earned the nickname "ROCKET CITY" for its close association with U.S. space research since 1950. RTX has been a part of this community since the early years, launching its Huntsville operations as the Raytheon Company in 1948. Today, some of the brightest minds in aerospace and defense call it home. This position is 100% onsite in Huntsville, and eligible candidates may receive relocation assistance.
