The Principal plays a key role in growing new business and managing projects from start to finish, ensuring project budgets and schedules are met while collaborating with clients, team members, and vendors to deliver exceptional results. You will lead the strategic direction for and development of wayfinding solutions, architectural signage, and branded environments.
In this position, you will be responsible for a $1.5MM annual sales target, making focused Go/No Go decisions based on our ability to win and deliver project excellence. You will identify and develop qualification and bid proposals, lead client presentations, and uncover strategic pursuits that open new or expanding markets. Beyond sales, you will provide thought leadership in key markets, developing content for marketing and business development while leading training sessions for staff development.
Day-to-day, you will develop comprehensive wayfinding strategies and design user-friendly sign programs. This involves conducting assessments, researching user behavior, identifying circulation patterns, and establishing information hierarchies. You will also review and approve work plans, manage financials including billing and collections, and mentor the team to foster a culture where creative ideas are encouraged and implemented.
