Forno Osteria and Bar Montgomery stands as one of Cincinnati's favorite Italian dining destinations, celebrated for its house-made pasta, quality ingredients, and warm hospitality. For years, we have remained committed to authentic Italian cuisine and scratch cooking, fostering a kitchen culture built on teamwork, consistency, and pride in the craft.
We are seeking a motivated Prep Cook to join our professional kitchen environment. This role is designed for someone who wants to grow while contributing to a restaurant that values quality and tradition. You will be an integral part of our team, assisting in the production of fresh, house-made pasta and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards.
In this position, you will work closely with line cooks and chefs during prep and service, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of your prep station. You will follow established recipes and kitchen standards consistently, properly label, store, and rotate food products, and adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures. Beyond the technical aspects, you will help maintain a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.
We provide a supportive and professional environment where you can learn traditional Italian kitchen techniques and explore growth opportunities within the kitchen. Our compensation package includes competitive pay based on experience, a 401k with a 3% match, and 70% company-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance.
The position is scheduled for the AM shift, 4-5 days a week. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sundays, with the exception of Easter and Mother's Day.
If you are passionate about food, take pride in preparation, and want to be part of a respected Cincinnati restaurant, we'd love to hear from you.

The Napoli Group operates as a family-owned restaurant company based in St. Louis, Missouri, managing six distinct hospitality concepts across the St. Louis metropolitan area. The organization traces its roots to 1989, when Tony and Kathy Pietoso founded Café Napoli, initially operating from a basement before expanding to a prominent location in Clayton. The business evolved in 2003 with the addition of Bar Napoli, a cocktail lounge, followed shortly by the introduction of Napoli Reserve to provide private event spaces and extended lounge hours.
Subsequent growth saw the opening of Napoli II in Town and Country in 2008. The portfolio continued to expand with the launch of Napoli III in St. Charles in 2020 and Napoli Sea in the same city in 2023. These locations represent the company's four fine-dining Café Napoli establishments. Most recently, the Pietoso family introduced a casual dining concept, Napoli Bros. Pizza and Pasta, which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2024 at The Hub at The District of St. Louis in Chesterfield, marking a strategic shift toward a more relaxed dining format.
