UPMC Magee Women's Hospital is a world-class center for women's health and an innovative leader in the delivery of care and research. Our Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstruction Surgery group consists of 10 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers. We provide outstanding evidence-based care through in-office procedures, vaginal surgery, and minimally invasive techniques. Our program extends its expertise through an outreach network serving 15 community sites across 6 facilities. Additionally, we maintain a robust fellowship program dedicated to training the next generation of specialists.
As a Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstruction Surgery Physician, you will join a collaborative team focused on advancing the standard of care for female urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders. This role is designed for a fellowship-trained, board-certified (or eligible) specialist who brings advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical skills to the team.
In this position, you will assess and treat a wide range of urogynecology conditions while mentoring residents and fellows who routinely rotate through our service. The role offers extensive opportunities to engage in research across all areas of urogynecology. Your clinical responsibilities will be supported by a call schedule primarily focused on back-up for fellows, consisting of approximately 4-5 weekends and 1-2 weekdays per month.
