UPMC Magee Women's Hospital is a world-class center for women's health and an innovative leader in the delivery of care and research. Our Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstruction Surgery group consists of 10 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers. We provide outstanding evidence-based in-office and surgical care, operating across six facilities and maintaining an outreach program to 15 community sites to ensure patients have access to our expertise. The program also features a robust fellowship, serving as a vital training ground for the next generation of specialists.
As a Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstruction Surgery Physician, you will join a collaborative team dedicated to advancing the field through clinical excellence and education. You will assess and treat a wide range of urogynecology conditions, utilizing office-based procedures, vaginal surgery, and minimally invasive surgical care. Your role will involve providing keen knowledge of diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical options for female urinary incontinence.
Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key educational role by mentoring and teaching residents and fellows who routinely rotate through our service. The position offers extensive opportunities for research in all areas of urogynecology. The call schedule is primarily focused on back-up for fellows, consisting of approximately 4-5 weekends per year and 1-2 weekdays per month.
