UPMC Magee Women's Hospital is a world-class center for women's health and an innovative leader in the delivery of care and research. Our Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstruction Surgery group consists of 10 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers. We provide outstanding evidence-based care through in-office procedures, vaginal surgery, and minimally invasive techniques. Our program extends to 15 community sites across 6 facilities to ensure broad patient access and maintains a robust fellowship program dedicated to training the next generation of specialists.
As a Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstruction Surgery Physician, you will join a collaborative team focused on advancing the standard of care for female urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders. This role offers a unique blend of clinical practice, academic mentorship, and research. You will assess and treat a wide range of conditions, utilizing advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical skills to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
A significant component of this position involves mentoring and teaching residents and fellows who routinely rotate through our service. The role also includes extensive opportunities to engage in research across all areas of urogynecology. The call schedule is designed to support the fellowship program, consisting primarily of backup duties for fellows, averaging 4-5 weekends and 1-2 weekdays per month.
