About the Role

This position serves as an individual contributor and developing subject matter expert within the R&D Software/Systems Engineering field. The role is designed to generate actionable insights for methods and research that support the internal engineering community. You will apply in-depth technical skills to design and develop industry-leading products while contributing to broader engineering projects, programs, and processes.

In this capacity, you will work to achieve operational, functional, and business targets that directly impact R&D Software/Systems Engineering results. Your day-to-day involves active participation in software development, code reviews, and test plan reviews, ensuring clear and thorough documentation of both code and design. You will also be responsible for creating technical reports and memoranda for internal and external distribution, as well as presenting findings and project status updates to the team and management. Additionally, you will play a key role in coaching and training junior colleagues on techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
