Seeking.com is the world's largest premium dating platform, currently navigating a pivotal chapter of brand transformation. The PR Coordinator serves as the entry point for our in-house PR and Communications team, reporting directly to the Senior PR Manager. This role is designed for a hungry, early-career operator who wants to learn the craft of public relations by doing it, within a small, high-velocity team.
From week one, you will be drafting pitches, tracking media coverage, supporting the casting of Seeking members for press interviews, and building media lists. You will learn to pitch journalists directly from senior leadership while remaining on-call to step in front of a camera or microphone yourself when needed. This is not a role for someone waiting to be onboarded; it is for someone ready to be useful on day one.
The position is ideal for candidates two years out of school or those with one to two years of PR, journalism, or communications experience. While the work is not always glamorous, executing it well offers the fastest path to becoming a PR Specialist or Senior PR Manager within three to five years.
We prioritize potential and wiring over a traditional resume. We are especially open to candidates from these backgrounds:
If you are organized, hungry, and prefer to learn by doing, this role is for you.
Your typical day might begin with morning media monitoring, compiling a coverage summary before the team stand-up. You will draft pitches or press releases for senior review, prepare a member from the casting book for a journalist interview, and build targeted media lists for upcoming campaigns. The day concludes with updating project trackers, the asset library, and sending a daily wrap-up to the team Slack with placements and upcoming priorities.
Every great PR function runs on the work of a great coordinator. Your efforts enable the Senior PR Manager and PR Specialist to ship more, faster, and better. You will ensure members in the casting book have a smoother experience and help agencies run cleaner. Ultimately, the work you do at this level shapes the foundation of a function responsible for transforming how millions of people perceive Seeking.
Success in this role is defined by becoming the team's most reliable operational partner. By the end of your first year, you should see your draft work require progressively less editing, the casting book be in better shape than when you joined, and you will have stepped in as a spokesperson at least once. You will also establish clear AI workflows that make you measurably faster than peers, positioning you for a promotion to PR Specialist within 18 to 24 months.
We value honesty and self-awareness. We are looking for individuals who are willing to be coached, not coddled, and who take ownership of their work. If you are comfortable working on a brand with public-perception baggage and are eager to help change the narrative, we encourage you to apply.
Seeking.com is an equal opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, identity, or experience, focusing on the skills and potential you bring to the team.
