The Portfolio Operations leader drives superior product performance through advanced P&L management, focusing on operating margin expansion efforts such as VAVE, Product Line Simplification, and FPP (80/20 behavior). This role serves as a critical liaison between the General Management team and various internal stakeholders, including Operations and Finance.
You will own the standard work processes supporting the portfolio through the utilization of VBS (Vontier Business System) tools, including Daily Management, Problem Solving, and Strategic Program Review. Your day-to-day involves managing review agendas to drive decisions, deploying VBS tools to enhance portfolio strategy execution, and promoting transparency, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration. You will regularly participate in factory meetings and Daily Management sessions to keep the General Manager abreast of opportunities and concerns, enabling proactive problem-solving. Additionally, you will lead the implementation of new product processes into operational facilities and provide S&OP support regarding key customer conversions and market changes impacting planning.
