Portfolio Counselor

The Opportunity

The Portfolio Counselor is a professional-level role within our Private Client Group (PCG), serving as the short-term point of contact for high-net-worth clients. You will welcome and onboard new clients by applying your financial planning knowledge and consultative approach to contribute to Fisher Investments' growth. Operating in an energetic environment, you will receive ongoing sales coaching while benefiting from internal support teams including Research, Operations, and the Investment Policy Committee (IPC). Your mission is to positively influence clients, promote the goal of bettering the investment universe, and uphold our fiduciary responsibility. You will report to a group manager who will assist you in navigating client relationships and provide personalized career development.

The Day-to-Day

In this role, you will partner with Fisher's sales professionals to onboard new clients who have expressed a desire to hire the firm. Your daily activities include helping bring in new assets through client referrals, educating clients on Fisher's investment philosophy, and aligning portfolio strategies with client goals. You will oversee the client onboarding process, including the transfer of assets, and collaborate with several teams to provide unparalleled service. Additionally, you will introduce clients to their long-term relationship manager.
