About the Opportunity

Are you a financial advisor looking to move away from cold calling and prospecting? Fisher Investments, a privately held multi-billion-dollar global investment firm, invites you to join our New Client Conversion (NCC) group as a Portfolio Counselor. This role is designed for those passionate about sales, financial planning, and educating clients on portfolio strategies within a hybrid service and sales environment.\n As a Portfolio Counselor within our Private Client Group (PCG), you will serve as the short-term point of contact for high-net-worth clients. Your mission is to welcome and onboard new clients by applying your financial planning knowledge and consultative approach to contribute to Fisher Investments' growth. You will positively influence your clients and promote our mission to better the investment universe while upholding our fiduciary responsibility.

You will receive ongoing sales coaching in an energetic environment while benefiting from internal support teams, including Research, Operations, and the Investment Policy Committee (IPC). Reporting to a group manager experienced in the role, you will navigate client relationships and receive personalized career development.

The Day-to-Day

In this role, you will partner with Fisher's sales professionals to onboard new clients who have expressed a desire to hire the firm. Your daily activities include helping bring in new assets through client referrals, educating clients on Fisher's investment philosophy, and aligning portfolio strategies with clients' goals. You will oversee the client onboarding process, including the transfer of assets, and collaborate with several teams to provide unparalleled service. Additionally, you will introduce clients to their long-term relationship manager to ensure a seamless transition.
