Grocers Supply, based in Houston, is the largest wholesale grocery supplier in Texas, serving over 900 independent grocery stores ranging from single-store retailers to major chains. About the Role

Porters are essential team members who maintain a clean and safe environment throughout our facilities. This role is critical for supporting our culture and ensuring the efficient delivery of goods. As a custodian, you will act as the guardian of our workspace, performing janitorial duties across the warehouse, office spaces, break areas, windows, and restrooms. Your work involves sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, and waxing floors, as well as managing spills and disposing of waste materials like plastic wrap and cardboard. Occasionally, you may assist in cleaning by moving product with an electric pallet jack. This position offers a dynamic day-to-day experience where physical activity is a key component, requiring you to stand, bend, and lift frequently in varying temperatures, from refrigerated zones to frozen environments.
