About the Role
The Sanitation, Warehouse position is essential to supporting America's food distribution system. We value the safety and health of our associates, and this role ensures the health and safety of everyone by maintaining a clean and safe workplace. You will perform general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks within the warehouse facility, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas, as well as office areas as assigned. Hiring Process
Candidates with a High School Diploma or GED and 6+ months of general sanitation, cleaning, or janitorial experience are encouraged to apply. The role operates Sunday through Thursday with a 7:00 AM start time.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleHandle cleaning chemicals according to hazmat material safety guidelines
- check_circleReport unsafe conditions or acts immediately to ensure workplace safety
- check_circleExecute cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash pickup
- check_circleBreak and repack full cases into smaller cases to reduce spoilage and inventory loss
- check_circlePerform general janitorial and sanitation tasks in warehouse, cooler, and freezer areas
- check_circleOperate pallet jacks to transport refuse and trash to appropriate receptacles
- check_circleComplete all work in compliance with company health and safety policies
- check_circleRecycle plastic and cardboard materials as needed
Requirements
