Secret Service Police carry out critical assignments in protection, serving as the frontline guardians of national leadership and infrastructure. This role is dedicated to ensuring the safety of The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area. Officers also travel extensively to support Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions, enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
This position must be performed in Washington, DC, so relocation to Washington, DC will be required. Applicants may be eligible for a $75,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. Click apply to view full details and eligibility of this recruitment incentive.
Candidates selected for this position must complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA or Artesia, NM, followed by 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.
