Platform Engineer

About the Role

Decision Technologies is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and sustaining resilient cloud and edge infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Kubernetes, Linux systems engineering, and cloud-native infrastructure, with a specific focus on building secure, highly available environments capable of operating in disconnected, degraded, intermittent, and low-bandwidth (DIL) conditions.

You will collaborate closely with software, networking, cybersecurity, and systems engineering teams to deliver scalable, mission-focused platform solutions. Your work will span cloud architecture, Kubernetes cluster management, Linux system hardening, and infrastructure automation, ensuring our platforms remain robust across diverse operational environments.
